JAKE is lying on the couch asleep, watched intently from across the room by DARA (FIRST WOMAN from ep 1). JAKE is still a little beaten up from the crash, but has cleaned up considerably since we last saw him. Much thumping and groaning is heard from out of frame before CHANCE enters, and flops down into a chair. CHANCE is also looking better than when we last saw him, but he is visibly worse off than JAKE. dara
You shouldn't be up. Good morning, though. She leans over the couch and run her fingers down JAKE'S face, her insubstantial finger tips pass through his skin. jake
(STIRRING)
Chance? What, are you trying to kill yourself or something? chance
I'm not going gonna just lie upstairs Jake. I'm hurt, not dying. Besides, I was hungry and you were napping. jake
(STANDING)
Really hungry, or just snakish?

JAKE leaves, in the direction of the kitchen.

DARA stands and walks over to CHANCE, kneeling in front of his chair and giving him a good look. dara
Well, it's been three days. If it hasn't happened by now it probably isn't going to Obviously somewhat nervous about what she's about to do, Dara lifts both hands and presses them against CHANCE'S chest. Although she tries for several seconds she is unable to put them inside him. She leans back on her haunches, smiling. dara

The Enforcers have ensured the citizens of MegaKat City that the recent upgrades to their armed capabilities, intelligence techniques and precautionary measures will be more than adequate to prevent any further outbreaks of violence from the millennium cults which have become a serious problem in recent months. It seems that the Enforcers are not the ones which Kats on the street are turning to for protection. With the downing of the TurboKat and the confirmed disappearance from Central hospital, many are wondering if the Enforcers are capable of defending the citizenry without the assistance of the SWAT Kats roll title

We've mustered troops that have stood by and watched while the SWAT Kats dealt with the threats in question. It's not really surprising that the populace identifies with those two since it's always them on the front page of the newspaper saving the city steele

No, I'm ordering one. With the SWAT Kats momentarily out of the picture this is an excellent chance to remind MegaKat City that the Enforcers were protecting them long before that pair of miscreants crawled out from under their rock. With any luck we'll be able to ensure that their downtime lasts much longer than expected. Won't we Felina? felina
I've been able to confirm that the SWAT Kats left Central hospital in an air ambulance which was ostensibly carrying critical blood products needed for a transplant operation in progress at Western Private. There was an operation, but Private's blood stores are very well stocked and there was no need for supplies from Central

DARA pulls her head back in, and the door swings open. Callie is unsure about entering, but does anyway, passing through the invisible DARA who stands in the doorway. dara

The boys are draped around the living room, lightly sleeping. They rouse themselves as CALLIE walks in, with DARA close behind. callie
Well it's good to see that you boys are up and around, but I'm not sure that the doctors who spent so much time patching you up would agree jake
Chance's accident wasn't that bad Callie, I'm surprised you even knew about it. Did you come all they way over here just to wish him well? callie

I've just come from an extremely unpleasant interview with Commander Feral, who was looking for the two of you. My guess is that they're looking to turn this temporary break in service into a permanent one SECOND WOman

The kat's conversation continues, but fades into the background as we concentrate on the two women. second woman

All the curtains are drawn, and no lights are on, so everything is bathed in shadow. The vague outlines of several pieces of furniture can be seen as the camera travels from one near-black room to another. Eventually the camera centers on a television playing one line from the news report over and over news anchor

The camera swings around to reveal a figure shrouded in darkness, only parts of a vague outline can be seen. The figures eyes pulse red as we ... fade to black
