Does major character mean a character from the show and minor ones are ones you made up, or major characters are the main, or important, characters of the story and minor characters are just like extras or cameos? Here are mine, comments welcome. A major character is one that appear by name in several episodes. That would be most of the ones we know the names for (Chance, Jake, Ulysses, Felina, Dark Kat, Dr. Viper, probably Steele ...) It would also cover characters not from the show but are central to the story, preferably for some time. Anyone you should be attached to or shocked to have die on you. Heavy in story (or reader) morning expected. This is the most important of the death warnings as a lot of reader just don't want to deal with the thought. A Minor character is one with a name that we know but doesn't show up much/ is a background character. It would also be fore an Unnamed character that is always around. Someone you might regret dying on the grounds that they were a good guy (or hate seeing anyone die), but wouldn't shake the world, city, or any major characters much. Some morning expected in story and by the reader. The cameos and extras usually fall into the Unnamed category. It just something to put in if you blow up Enforcer HQ or an appartment complex with no one we know in it. Kats die, but no one we have a name or face too. In story morning is negligible. A lot of the difference between the category depends on the impact the death has. The more impacting, the stronger the warning. An average SK episode would have an "Unnamed Character Death" warning on it for the fact that civilians and Enforcers almost surely get killed, but no one we have a name or face for, but we know some die none the less. The Giant Bacteria floats between Major and Minor Character Death, I'd list it as Minor. Morbulus does die, but he is a one shot villain that isn't even in most of the episode (definitely Minor). Dr Zyne does appear in two shows and all but stars in one, but the second one is as a flashback *after* his death, so he is likely a minor character at the time of his death scene. Does that make any more sense or do I need to try again? ----------------- Rauhnee Ranshanka; Katmin: MegaKat City Nexus, ListHood SWAT Kat http://www.peak.org/~dragon/index.html ***************************************************************** To live is to die.
