If you think 'bout it, in Bright and Shiny Future, the future guys died before the ones we know and very much love dropped in, which means Pastie came in before that, of course, so shouldn't the guys WE know face the fact that they could still've died? They sent Pastie off to somewhere before they got sent to the future, so they can't change that fact. They would still have the Metallikat prob unless they did something about it, like hide the heads. The laws of time, according to Back to The Future, things should still happen. It's one big complicated thought, and I think WAY too much, but really, unless they changed something, they'd have to have changed the way things worked out.
