Depressing as it is, this timeline ending is right on the money. The SWAT Kats may have fixed the future for the kats remaining in MegaKat City after the Metallikats took over, but they neither did anything to save themselves nor to force the PastMaster to undo his tampering at the end of the show. So, unless they do something, the Metallikats will take over and they will die. I mean, the PastMaster is hardly going to bother to fix the future... unless, of course, he decided to stop himself from helping the Metallikats as they *did* doublecross him and all... Of course, we never *saw* that....
