Well, she's curator of the museum, right? And he stole the book from the
museum. She probably just recognized the book. She would have known it was a
spellbook because of examination of the book itself. How many gigantic books
in the natural history museum are there, and which ones would a little
troll-like demon guy steal? (That's my practical opinion, at least....)
