Other language families: "Celtic" "Altaic" "African" "Finno-Urgic" "Indic" "Slavic" "Lowlands" "Native American" "Baltic" "Asian" And those are just families. So you're really talking about 5 out of a couple thousand languages in existence that actually are drawn from Latin. Not only does that not accomplish you much, but I doubt someone who could only speak one of the those 5 languages could read Latin just because the roots of the words are similar.
