A : yes they do. domestic cats may not pant as often because unlike thier
wild
counterparts, domestic cats have less body weight and less fur. also the
domestic cat is practically handed their meals and don't have to hunt for
food
so they exhert less energy and thus you get the fat house cat. when my cat
does laps around the house he pants quite a bit. Cheetas are my best
example.
They are the fastest land animal and are clocked at running 60 mph in an
open
space. you can bet that this little kitten pants its heart out and most
times
without din din in its jaws.
