Subject: Smoking Kats?

There is currently on the market a brand of cigars called "Fat Cat", and
the box art includes a cat bearing a great deal of resemblance to Mac
Mange. It's one of those boutique brands which will die once the cigar
fad goes, but the artwork caught my eye.

And it got me to thinking: We know that Kats share a human vice,
drinking, in that milk is portrayed in a manner suggesting it's drunk
like humans drink beer. But do Kats smoke? I know there's a cigar in
"The Metallicats", but it's a bomb, rather than rolled leaves. Does any
kind of smoking appear in the show, perhaps a pipe?

And in a "bigger picture" sense, would Kats smoke? Humans smoke tobacco
(among other things :), and in Tolkien's books there's something called
"pipe weed", which is clearly not tobacco. Catnip as a smoking medium
perhaps?

Just some idle musings on an interesting place (MegaKat City and
environs).....
