  Yes, that's right, I am back on-line...again.  Sheesh, took me quite
awhile this time, delayed a little longer due to what happened to the most
recent list.  If the dates on all those olde Eudora disks are accurate, and
they are, I was last on the Kats list May 16th, 1996, which makes this
about a 1&1/2 year absence.  Seems longer.  Long time list members (I
originally joined shortly after the first list formed.) will recall my
rather unstable activity on the list which would have been steadier were it
not for my lack of a machine to call my own.  Since leaving I've basically
just been doing nothing.  A lot of thinking, a small amount of jotting down
of ideas about most everything, got another letter in TV Guide (Brag, Brag,
Brag.), and, as keen observers might note, I also bought a computer.

 This time I won't be doing any disappearing acts from the net since I do
actually own the computer now and probably won't change my address for a
very, very long time either.  And as for my machine?  A Mac 6500/275
Creative Studio.  I just wish I could've gotten one of those really
powerful and fast ones I've heard so much about.

  But seriously, I've got a mighty fine machine here and with it I intend
on eventually doing all sorts of Kats related stuff, same with the 50 megs
my provider has for my future web site,  but not quite yet.  I'm afraid in
the meantime I've got some tasks, one really big project in particular, to
get out of the way, and then, in a few months, I'll try to start in in
earnest, though I probably won't get around to creating a web site for
several months. (I haven't even learned how yet.)  For now I'll probably
make a few brief posts now and again, and I'd love to hear from anyone
who'd care to write me personally about any off-topic stuff.  I can't
guarantee an encyclopedic response, but I'd love to chitchat.

  So, anybody care to update me on what's been going on this past year and
a half?
