Yeah! New member here! It's great to be able to
converse with all the other SWATKats_Adult members! So
what is everyone doing now that the holidays are
rapidly approaching?
I just completed my first piece of art: Jake and
Chance 'playing'. I haven't decided a title yet. Can
anyone think of one? I have mixed feelings about this
one. I like the way it turned out (except jake's legs)
but 1) I added hair (I don't know if it adds a good
effect or not) and I switched their body size around
during the process. Now Jake looks bigger... Oh well.
And this is up for coloring if anyone would like to
try! I'd love to see what other people can do. I plan
on coloring too, but I'm not good with the computer
progs. for them. Hope you enjoy!

Greetings,
I've been dead lately due to many technical difficulties. So here
is something new for you guys to play with.
Here is a very crazy idea I had that I need your help for.
Basically, it's a secret and no one can know what's going
on yet. :) Let's just say I'm playing around with the
chaos factor. Here's the basic premise at the moment.
Below is a form of ballot. Fill it out and mail it to
me or the SKList. (And this is on topic, Rauhnee. Trust
me. :) ) I can't tell you too much without spoiling this,
so here are some basic guidelines to play with. Vote on
whatever you want. If you want to keep you decisions
secret, mail them directly to me at
Wielder13@hotmail.com.
The only thing I demand is that the ballots are COMPLETELY
filled in. Half information will only mess this up. In a
few months, everyone on the list should start receiving the
results of this minor disaster.
Ballots:
Choose one letter option from each numbered category.
Special categories are for writing in something of your
own. Look to the word following it to see what kind of
word you need. Think ad-libs.
Here's a basic example based on number 1. If I choose to
select the characters Chance and Jake, then I write in the
following line for a reply.
1) A D
Or vice-versa depending on what order you want to put them
in, And YES, the order is important. One will be first and
second. Do you want to pick the same thing twice if there
is an option to do so? Then go ahead. Generally, there
will be two or more character slots, followed by an
item/verb slot. Then there will be a Write-in slot. If
the write in asks for a noun just give me one. Anything
you want. Say you want Jake, Jake and more Jake.
Here's what you can do.
1) A A B Special : Jake
There will also be Write-in character slots and item/verb
slots. Just write out what you want instead of a letter.
REMEMBER order IS important.
Then again since you can only guess what this is all for, have as much fun
as you can. Be creative and toss out some
interesting stuff. This is NOT limited to Swat Kats only.
Like the Road Rovers? Toss in Hunter's name for fun.
Beware, that I have to know these characters for this to
work, but I know tons.
If something on your ballot confuses me, I'll contact you
and ask questions. Now that this is confusing you, please
be aware that I need to compile the results ASAP. So the
deadline is Dec 20. If you don't make it in under that
deadline to the list or my box. The ballot will not be
counted.
Final note. If for some reason you're torn as to whom to
pick, don't be. Everyone is allowed 3 votes. 3 separate
ballots, or you can put them all on one page if needed.

I messed up on my ballot form and said that the deadline was
Dec. 20, that is not correct.
The correct date is Jan 20. I was a month behind. That gives
everyone plenty of time.
BTW, I'm planning a special contest.
The prize?
A year 2000 calander that I constructed myself that includes 25
of my better images. (This isn't for sale cause of Copyright
tangles, but I can give one away.) This is a one of a kind.
No others will exists. Similar ones eventually, but none like
this. By the way, this calander is in COLOR!! That means 25
color prints, for FREE!!!
So what do you got to do? That's easy. Be creative, and wake this
list up a bit. Start working on your stories, and your writing skills
but don't let that stop there. Artists pick up your brushes.
Either pictures or stories qualify. Here's the catch.
Rules.
1) all entries MUST be marked so. Wielder Calander Contest Entry.
2) I am sole judge here and will be basing my decision on a few
things. One, and most IMPORTANT, CREATIVITY. Is this a new idea
or an old one? Does it have a genuinely unexpected twist? Two,
Eroticism. This is an adult list, so let's see some spooge. For
those that think my tastes don't fit, I'm open to hetero work too.
But I don't think many hetero's will like my calander. Three, this
one is actually the weakest of the three esentials since you can have
the first two and not need this one. Skill and craft. Do NOT let
this discourage those who don't like their talents. I'm not
interested in skill, I'm interested in your imagination. So there!
I'm getting carried away. :)
3) Anyone on the SKAdult list is eligible except me.
So what can you do? ANYTHING. Stories, Art, Movies, Nude photo
collages, anything that can be mailed to this list.
What's the topic?
OK, Here's he topic, all entries have to be about this topic in
some WAY. And it has to be fairly obvious, nothing too vague, I'll
let you know if I feel it is.
Topic : The Swat Kats (That means Jake and Chance)(Others are welcome
but these two are essential if you want credit, They HAVE to be visibl
in the entry somewhere)) in an alternate world where they are one of
the following :
Characters in a Dungeons and Dragons type world (Fantasy),
Characters in a setting deep in space on board a space ship (Sci-fi),
Characters in a deep underwater setting (More Sci-Fi),
Characters in a Popular movie. (Any WELL-KNOWN Movie will do)
Free zone.
Free zone is a bit tricky. If your entry doesn't fit any of the
other 4 sections, then you can call it free zone, but be warned, it
would have to be very inventive and impressive to get noticed, but
that doesn't mean I'll rule it out.
Date for beginning of entries is NOW!
Final date for Entiries is tenatively Feb 1. It may be stretched
out further if there is enough interest and someone needs more time.
Number of entries allowed? As many as you can make! There are no
limits to the number of entries, so crank out the stuff and you
might beat someone out of the calander.
I hope this wakes a few people up.

to mention that everyone has 3 votes each. So you can vote for
each number 3 times.
Muusu, had only one vote for sections 1 - 3 and two for #4.
So send me what you'd like for your other votes.
Yes, you can triple or double a vote.
Chris only sent one for the whole set, but you can triple it instead
of making three different ballots.
By the way, I am enjoying some of the stuff you seem to want to see,
but I should warn you, It doesn't work the way you think. :) I set
this up to be genuinely unpredictable, even to me and I'm doing it.

Well, no I don't have an exam fetish, I just though it would be
interesting to try and put my one exam story that I wrote into a comic
strip format.
Five fingers? I use a few references for the hands so that's probably
why they have five fingers. And the word is 'Bared', that's just how it
came out when I lettered the thing in photoshop. I'll use a different
font next time.
And a coloring contest?, sure, why not.

at long last a story. :)
I finally got this story done as part of a request for someone
(Sorry forgot name.) who wanted to have an ending where one of the
kats dies. Here ya go. Hope you like.
Endings
By : Wielder
Please note, this is a fairly depressing story in some
ways, but was also supposed to be a spiritually liberating
one. This was an old plot that sat in my head for some
time. It resurfaced when a request was made for a story
where a character dies. There is an alternate ending for
this story, because I couldn't be truly happy with
something this beautiful just ending. So I gave it another
chance.
BTW, this is glossed over at points and is not one of my
Better works. The main point is the encounter, not the
Way the world ends. Try to enjoy.
Some smut involved too.
The house was dead quiet when Chance drove up to it. He
parked his hovercraft and stepped out of it gingerly.
There was no turning back now. It was too late, but he
didn't regret his decision. He walked to the silent house
pensively, almost afraid of what he'd find inside. The
heat was getting worse, but the actual change was barely
noticeable. He walked up to the door and hesitated. He
was terrified. There was no telling what could happen in
the next few minutes, but he had already made his choice.
Chance grabbed the knob and opened the door.
It was dark inside. Power had been cut off for almost a
day. There wasn't any need for it anymore. Chance walked
through the main room and stepped into the kitchen. Both
were empty. Then he turned and went to the bedroom. He
stepped through the doorway as silent as a ghost and saw
him. Jake was sitting on the bed, naked and
hunched over as if completely defeated. He looked
up slowly, sensing a presence. When his eyes and Chance's
made contact, Chance felt that old familiar tingle in his
spine. The one that made him realize this was what he
wanted. Jake's eyes widened in shock.
"What are you doing here?!" he practically screamed. "You
have to go now, before it's too late!"
Chance just stood there for a moment. "It's already too
late." He said.
Jake just froze. "You weren't in time?"
Chance shook his head. "No, I was in time. I told them
no."
Jake sat on the bed in shock. "But you can't stay!" he
said in a defeated tone. "You're going to die if you
stay!"
Chance walked across the room and sat beside Jake. "I'd
die if I left." He said quietly. "I can't leave."
Jake began crying. "Don't stay." He said between the
tears. "You have a chance. You should live."
Chance shook his head. "How would I live?" He reached out
and touched Jake's arm. "Do you remember when we first
met?"
Jake nodded, tears still flowing evenly. "It was only
a month ago."
Chance nodded. "At the reception. I was promoted second
in command of the Enforcers under Feral himself. You were
attending as honor guard. Across the room, we saw each
other."
Jake nodded. "You looked very good in your commander's
uniform."
Chance nodded. "And you looked incredible in your honor
guard uniform."

becoming too depressed. To be honest though, I feel it
lessens the drama that was in the first. Same story until
right to the end, then it's different.
Feel free to skip to the marker(asterisks) if you want to
see what I changed.
BTW, this is glossed over at points and is not one of my
Better works. The main point is the encounter, not the
Way the world ends. Try to enjoy.
The house was dead quiet when Chance drove up to it. He
parked his hovercraft and stepped out of it gingerly.
There was no turning back now. It was too late, but he
didn't regret his decision. He walked to the silent house
pensively, almost afraid of what he'd find inside. The
heat was getting worse, but the actual change was barely
noticeable. He walked up to the door and hesitated. He
was terrified. There was no telling what could happen in
the next few minutes, but he had already made his choice.
Chance grabbed the knob and opened the door.
It was dark inside. Power had been cut off for almost a
day. There wasn't any need for it anymore. Chance walked
through the main room and stepped into the kitchen. Both
were empty. Then he turned and went to the bedroom. He
stepped through the doorway as silent as a ghost and saw
him. Jake was sitting on the bed, naked and
hunched over as if completely defeated. He looked
up slowly, sensing a presence. When his eyes and Chance's
made contact, Chance felt that old familiar tingle in his
spine. The one that made him realize this was what he
wanted. Jake's eyes widened in shock.

and touched Jake's arm. "Do you remember when we first

in command of the Enforcers under Feral himself. You were
attending as honor guard. Across the room, we saw each

The dark tom turned on the lighter one and just stared.

avoid that gaze. Finally the dark tom spoke.
"Commander Feral said we were to bring Commander Furlong in

my orders. If that means having to tie you down and let

The lighter tom backed away.

way to a special shuttle that would allow them to escape

other, naked and not caring. They had found love, end of
the world or not.

I was going to wait to enter this but I got impatient
and had some extra time so here's my second entry.
"Feeding Time on the Space Station 'Nebula Kitten'"
I enjoyed doing this one. Since it is a alternate
universe they do have 5 fingers and hair. I like how
Jake's Goggles turned out and Chance's dog(kat?) tags
too. It took a while to decide on what their hair
would be and I even surprised myself on how good it
goes. I even saved Jakes nose from my usual doglike
version. Now I also have contributed this colored too.
I liked the B&W version because everything looks neat
and professional. I love how the colors worked but the
coloring job I did is less than par... So here's both,
judge the better for yourself.

Summary: On the tenth anniversary of their relationship, Ulysses
Feral and Shir Kahn both manage to pick the same gift to give.
Disclaimers: The boys aren't mine. Anybody surprised?
Notes: For the HiddenTruths challenge (December 1999): "What is
your favorite character's New Year resolution with regard to
his/her beloved?"
I think this might be as rare as it gets.

So what do you give a Kat that has -- quite literally --
everything?
I mean, I'm doing pretty well; Commander of the Enforcers of
MegaKat City is light on neither pay or power ... or
aggravation. Outside of a few industrialists and the Deputy
Mayor, I'm pretty easily the most powerful individual in the City
on a regular basis.
But Shir, he's in a class of his own, and of his own making, even
on this world. He's got his paws in every company that matters
in the civilized world. More money and authority than even he
can use ... and he has me.
To overhear to his servants, I'm he only thing that can make him
smile on a regular basis. I suspect they're leaving out 'Roar',
'Howl' and 'Scream' for their own safety. But he can say the
same of me. I've felt this way about only two things in my life;
the Enforcers, and Shir Kahn. And I think, if fate was cruel
enough to make me choose, I would stay with him, and leave all I
have worked for behind.
What to give him?
Each new year we find the time to see each other and a gift is
given in commemoration of the past and a promise to our future.
Given on the day we accepted the risk of that first fiery kiss,
and a day the entire world celebrates. There is an irony in
that, somewhere. If I could think of it.

I grew up around luxury and wealth, the Feral clan is an old,
rich and powerful one, but still Shir's taste makes me nervous,
even after all these years. Forty years away from it all makes a
difference. I've been a warrior too long to be comfortable
here. I doubt I'll ever understand how he can stand it, because
no matter what he says, he has the soul of a warrior.
But that doesn't matter, for Shir Kahn is here and I can blend
into his world better than he can blend into mine. Now who am I
kidding? He can't blend in *anywhere*. He's far to magnificent,
too poised, too sure of himself.
He's everything good I've heard others say of me, and more.
Gods, I know I sound like a lovesick kitten and we're ten years
into this. But every time we meet it feels the same; butterflies
in my stomach, can't control my breathing ... I can almost cum
just from seeing him reclined fully dressed in his suit when I
walk in the room.
And it's time to start all over again. I hope he understands my
gift. It may well be the last.
"Welcome Uly," his voice is warm and smooth as rich brandy, and
does a great deal more to me.
"Welcome Shir." My voice sounds quite distant right now. I
can't help it, his touch, strong hands slide down my sides to
pull me in for the first desperate kiss of our too brief meeting,
is enough to make me tremble in my need. It's infuriating that
he can still be so calm. I can see the fire in his eyes ... his
need is as great as mine.
"I would break our tradition slightly, Ulysses." It takes a
moment for his words to sink in over the warmth of his body. "My
gift should come first, before we share a bed."
Now what could he possibly mean? I nod anyway, how could I not.
If he wishes to give gifts before sex, who am I to challenge it?
Tradition has always meant more to him them me.
"Thank you, my love." His fingers linger on my face was he walks
way, towards the grand bedroom I very much wish to use soon.
But something is seriously off here, he never calls me 'my
love'. He's also taking way too long in there.
"Ulysses." It's a request, question and summons all rolled into
one coming from the bedroom.
He has all the lights in the room off, there's only a few candles
flickering the strands of gold that highlight his body -- naked
but for a gold and ruby collar, kneeling, head bowed, wrists
behind him ... he's trying to kill me. He must be. I've barely
dared to fantasize this.
"Ulysses Imiri Feral," his deep voice rumbles up my spine as his
raised eyes pin me in place. "I am Shir Kahn, Free Son of the
Sirath. You have brought both joy and passion to me without
demands of your own. You have taught me that there is something
worth loving in this world beyond my work. I would ask you to
Lifemate before my family and the gods." The words barely
register, this is so unreal. "For this, I offer you all that I
am, all that I possess."
He *can't* mean it. But ... lord he almost looks scared. I've
never seen him this unguarded. He's proposing to me. Is that
even legal?
I can see him relax a little when I feel the smile cross my lips
and I bring the small package out of my pocket. My gift to him.
"Bring you hands forward." I doubt he understands what I intend,
but he does it anyway after some twitching. The leather-studded
manacles on his writs are for real, and only enhance the beauty
of him as I knee before him, bringing us to level again.
Gods I love him.
"Shir Kahn, Free Son of the Sirath," I feel myself smile a little
more at the mimic of his speech. "I am Ulysses Imiri Feral. You
have given me what I thought impossible, something I have doubted
existed for a long time." I change my plans slightly and fold
the cotton off my polished badge, feeling the weight of what I am
doing in full force. But it still feels right as I place it in
his hand with mine over them. "This is all that I am, all that I
possess without you. It is what I have withheld these ten
years." I bring my hands back so he can see what I left there,
and I'm half surprised to see comprehension in his eyes. "I
offer you everything that I am, everything I posses without you,
for if any fate calls on me to choose between the halves of my
life, I would choose you, and leave all I have behind."
He's staring down at my badge like it's a magical thing. "We
chose the same gift."
"Pretty much," I reach to bring him up for a kiss and meet no
resistance. "Usually means it's a good idea."
"Uly?" his voice is voice quite.
"Yes?"
"Without any concern for me, what would you ask for the perfect
gift?" There's _something_ in his voice I can't quite place.
How can I not think of him? But the answer comes far too easily
to my lips. "I'd ask for you to move your headquarters and
yourself to MegaKat City."

I'll give it a shot, but you've seen my 'finish it' track
record. But still Goliath/ Soron is a little too sweet to pass
up.
And it's the one of the few fandoms where I thing I can actually
di NC-17 F/F.

I take it you're not on M_A ... but it's the holidays and
beginning of the school year. All the lists seem to be dead.

Feel free to pass this on to anyone and any list that might be
interested that didn't get it.
Sorry to all the folks that'll get this a couple cazillion times
like me, but it'll save me headaches fielding "what happened"
inquires over the next month or so.
GateKat.net is changing servers.
This will not affect any URLs except for those actually inside
the GateKat's Galleries (what now read http://www.TransFur.com)
but it may cause some strange behavior when the domain is
registered on both servers, despite my best attempts to keep them
up to date, as the old location has about 100 MB that's banned
for content. It is the Galleries that will most likely be
affected.
Now, for the news that will actually make an impact to most
visitors.
The last update planned saw GateKat.net hit the 200 MB mark.
In compiling for the move/ integration I realized that something
like 25-30% of this is duplicates of one kind of another. This
is unacceptable. That duplication is caused by the current
organization/ folder structure.
Because of this, I'm going to basically go to ground (two weeks,
a month, whatever it takes) to fix it. It's going to be drastic
in all likelihood and affect everyone who links to my site by
other than the true main index page. I will notify everyone I
know about that links of the new URLs before I upload the new
version (so if you link to me, it wouldn't be a bad idea to drop
me a note about it). There will be no updates until then.

Subject: Weilder's calandar contest
Presenting (I belive) the first text entry to the calendar concert,
which also represents my first creative posting to this list.
BTW, would it be OK if (in future) I posted Word files to the list? I
admit that there's not a lot of difference but I like to do things like
italics which .TXTs can't do.
In any case here's "Arrivals", the first of what may be an ongoing
fantasy alternate world series.

Arrivals
It was approaching sunset when the two travellers approached the gates of
the city, the smaller one shouting for entry even though the guards had
already begun sealing the entrance. The guard captain on duty was sorely
tempted to deny them, neither wore much more than rags and the larger was
so drunk he could barely stand, but he knew that his superiors wouldn't be
as
forgiving if another set of strangers ended up murdered in the wilderness
because of his desire to close the gates early and head home. Shouting down
from the ramparts the captain gave them direction to Andrea's, advising them
to spend the night there and be out of the city shortly after the gates
opened
in the morning. As the two weary looking figures shambled in the direction
of
the inn the captain and his men turned their attention back to the sealing
of
the gates, the last duty to be performed before they handed the streets over
to
the care of the night watch, and consigned themselves to the care of pillows
and dreams.
As he staggered up the stairs Jake Clawson was tempted to reach into his
soul and find even the merest shred of power, enough to make the curses he
had been throwing at the guard captain's memory since they entered the city
truly painful for the man. It had been quite obvious that he had believed
the
two to be trouble, little more that common thieves, and his directions to
what
was almost undoubtedly one of the lower drinking dens in the city had served
only to compound Jake's dislike of the man. He had been thankful beyond
words when the owner, a singularly stunning example of what a female kat
should be, had recognised him as something more than common riff-raff and
quickly assigned them a room. He stopped at the head of the stairs to
collect
his scattered, weary thoughts and unlocked the door to their room, stepping
aside so that Andrea's hired muscle-man could carry his companion through.
Jake marvelled at how easily the bouncer carried Chance, when his weight
had been a burden that drove Jake into the ground after the first half-mile
of
road. Jake thanked the man absently as he left and then collapsed on the
floor, devoured by a total exhaustion that sapped his mind and body. He was
roused a few moments later by a knock at the door, and managed to draw
himself up into a sitting position before calling for the visitor to enter.
The door
swung wide and Andrea walked through bearing a tray of food and a pitcher
of clear water. Seeing Jake collapsed on the floor she immediately set the
tray
down and helped him to the edge of the bed before returning to close the
door.
"You've obviously come a long way." Her voice was smooth and light, setting
Jake in mind of sweet flowing honey. He absently noted that the metaphor
was doubly suited since it also matched the color of her fur, and then had
to
fight an outburst of hysteric laughter as he realised how badly the day's
struggle had effected his body and mind.
"Not so far by your standards probably," he managed once he was back in
relative control of himself, "But it's my friend who's the experienced
traveller,
and he's a little indisposed at the moment."
"So I'd noticed." Andrea allowed herself a quick glance at Chance's prone
body, lying limply on the bed where the bouncer had left him.
"I brought you some things from the kitchen," she announced, deftly changing
the subject, "We didn't have much, but I tried to remember the sorts of
things
that help."
Jake was surprised by the tray's contents. Along with the pitcher of crystal
clear water, the woman had brought bread and nuts as well as some simple
sugared treats. It was simple fare, but not the sort of thing Jake would
have
expected to be commonly served in the taproom downstairs. It was exactly
what he would have ordered had he had his choice. He lifted the pitcher and
shakily poured himself a glass of water, draining it in one swallow before
he
lifted his eyes to meet that of his hostess.
"Thankyou."
Andrea simply nodded and turned to leave. As she left she tossed a glance
back over her shoulder at the exhausted kat.
"If you need anything else, just ask one of my guys downstairs." She walked
out before Jake could nod his understanding. He took another glass of water
and a hunk of bread as he cast his eyes around the room. It was a small
room, sparse and in a moderate state of disrepair despite the fact that it
was
probably one of the better accommodations that Andrea had to offer. It was
clean and had a bed though, as far as Jake was concerned the rest could wait
until morning. Taking a third glass of water and a handful of the candies
Jake
began to turn his mind to the things which couldn't wait until the morning.
Sitting perfectly still in the chair he turned his sight inwards, examining
the
state of his body and mind. It was a relief to see that his mind had not
been
pushed as hard by the experience as he had feared, his scattered state of
mind was largely due to the abused state of his muscles, which had been
pushed to the limit by the need to support Chance's weight for most of the
afternoon. Thankfully the food and water that Andrea had brought him was
simple and easily absorbed by the vitals, already he could feel it soothing
his
abused muscles and helping to refresh his mind. Feeling much more in
control of himself, Jake finished the last of the water and the bread before
stepping over to the bed where his companion lay unconscious.
"Chance, wake up. Chance." Shaking his friends shoulder Jake began to
worry that he may have left this too late, that in insuring his own
well-being he
had allowed Chance to slip away. His fear was allayed when the larger kat
opened his eyes a fraction, and made an appallingly weak and uncoordinated
swipe at him.
"Wa' 'sup?" Chance's voice was muddled and drowsy.
"I think I can make you a little more comfortable Chance, but I need you to
try
and stay awake. Can you do that?"
"M' OK"
"First we meed to get your shirt off, or at least whatever's left of it."
This turned out to be an effort in itself, as Chance was in only the most
vague
control of himself and his efforts to help only served to make things more
complicated. In the end Jake was able to get the ruined garment off his
friend,
revealing a heavily muscled chest and tight abdomen, crossed by a wide,
tattered bandage which had stained a deep red. The stupor which the guard
captain had mistaken for drunkenness had in truth been blood loss. The
makeshift bandage followed the shirt onto the floor, opening the series of
deep, weeping cuts that covered Chance's chest to the air. For a moment
Jake was frozen by a memory of swords biting deep into his friend, and the
birth of a desperate rage which had probably saved both their lives.
Snapping
back to the task at hand, Jake took a moment to clear his mind and collect
his
thoughts again before extending his arms straight out above Chance's body,
the palms facing downward. He reached inside himself to touch the spark of
power within, willing it outwards towards his hands. Slowly his hands and
fingers began to glow with their own light, originating in the veins which
carried his blood so their seemed to be a shining wed covering him, but then
seeping out into his flesh until his whole hand glowed with the light of his
soul.
"Metesh akar metesh," he chanted softly,
"Vortu neb zulim"
"Metesh akar nar."
As the words of magic left his lips Jake felt all the exhaustion and pain of
the
day come crashing down on his mind in a wave that threatened to carry him
away. Gritting his teeth he forced himself to concentrate on his hands, to
watch as the white light of his will was tinged blue with his life-force.
Once the
transformation was complete and his hands glittered blue as a summer sky,
Jake lowered his right hand, laying he palm over one of the shallower cuts
that decorated his friend's powerful chest. Chance gave an incoherent moan
as the transfer took place, and an empty ache opened up in Jake's chest as
some of his own energy was consumed to restore his friend. Now using both
hands Jake began to methodically cross Chance's powerful torso, his deft
fingers passing over bleeding, lacerated skin and leaving behind fur and
flesh
which, whilst bloodstained, was whole. Eventually the growing numbness in
his chest and the weight of the day conspired to break Jake's concentration,
extinguishing the healing light of his hands and sending him face down on
the
bed beside Chance, utterly exhausted. Chance was still barely conscious, but
his body shifted in response to Jake's presence and the smaller kat found
himself comfortably surrounded by the hard warmth of the other's body.
Instinct and habit drew groping hands towards Jake's crotch, but the smaller
kat plucked them away and set them against his chest.
"Not now Chance," He murmured as sleep overtook him, "I don't have the
energy to play tonight."
When Jake woke the next morning a beautiful sight lay before his bleary
eyes.
Chance sat naked on the edge of their bed, his fur wet from his morning
bath,
running his hands across the newly healed muscles of his chest.
"Not even a scar." The big kat whispered to himself, apparently unaware that
he was being watched.
"Of course there isn't," Jake said, startling his friend a little, "I don't
do sloppy
magic."
"Lucky for me huh?" Chance smiled but his voice was devoid of humour. "How
are you feeling this morning?"
"Sore," Jake told him, realising as he said it exactly how sore he was, "I
worked a lot of high impact sorcery yesterday, not to mention carrying you
off
afterwards." The smaller kat stretched and yawned, wanting to work the kinks
out of his body but reluctant to get out of bed. As if in answer to a prayer
Chance crawled down the bed to sit behind Jake and took hold of his
shoulders, kneading the muscles until they began to relax. Jake sighed and
leaned back against Chance's body, enjoying the attention. After a few
moments he spoke in a whisper.
"We can't go back."
"I know." Chance's voice was filled with grave finality.
"We need to find some way to get some money, decide what we're going to
do now."
Chance's hands slid slowly down Jake's sides, coming to rest in his lap. The
smaller kat stretched languidly, his muscles already feeling smoother thanks
to Chance's ministrations, and locked his hands together behind his
partner's
neck.
"Blizzard says there's an open arena tomorrow." The larger kat whispered in
Jake's ear.
"Blizzard?"
"Andrea's white muscleman from downstairs," Chance replied, drawing a
finger back along the length of Jake's penis, "He showed me where I could
have something to eat and get cleaned up this morning."
"Oh yeah, I met him yesterday … he carried you up the stairs actually, but I
wasn't in much of a condition for remembering names." Jake pressed himself
back against Chance, feeling the weight of his partner's full erection
against
his back. "Besides," the smaller kat continued, "I'm not sure we should get
into
arena fighting. That's what got us into this mess in the first place."
Although Jake couldn't see it, a grin of feral joy spread across Chance's
face
as he wrapped his whole hand around Jake's engorged member.
"It wasn't what we did in the arena that got us into trouble."
"Still, I don't want to do that again. Not so soon anyway."
"I agree, you shouldn't. I'll do it on my own."
"Chance I …" Whatever Jake had been going to say was lost as Chance's
firm, practiced touch finally broke through the sorcerer's trained
self-control.
The larger kat kissed the side of his partner's face, progressively making
his
way towards Jake's mouth as the smaller kat pressed back, grinding their
bodies together. Their lips met and Chance's tongue slides into Jake's
mouth,
stroking and teasing what it finds there in a rhythm counterpoint to the
steady
strokes on his hands upon Jake's twitching shaft. A wave of ecstasy passes
through the smaller furry body, emerging as a ragged groan from his mouth
into Chance's which still held him locked in a kiss, and as a stream of
milky
white liquid from his quivering member onto Chance's hand. A moment of
tender silence passes between the two. Chance brings both his hands up
again, running the left through Jake's hair while the smaller kat licks and
sucks at the fingers of the right, cleaning away the pearly drops.
"You are staying right here today," Chance says finally as he reluctantly
rises
from the bed, "You need to recover. Blizzard can take me to the arena and
help me get things sorted out for tomorrow. Rest. I'll ask Andrea to make
sure
you get some lunch."
Jake later found that Chance had been quite serious in his desire for Jake
to
take a day of rest, so much so that he had mentioned it to his newfound
friend
Blizzard, who had in turn had words with Andrea's few other staff. The net
result of which was that when Jake came down the stairs shortly before noon
with the intention of finding some way to help out it was subtly, and then
not-
so-subtly, suggested that he should return to his room. Seeing that there
was
no way he could change their minds Jake gracefully admitted defeat. In truth
it
was not such an arduous thing to have some time of to rest and meditate, and
he did still need to recover from his ordeal of the day before, but he was
also
restless and the idea of performing exercises in the small room while Chance
was no doubt out exploring the city galled him a little. He was surprised,
when
lunch came, to find it delivered by Andrea herself. This time the tray held
the
sort of food which Jake would expect to be available in a down-market
tavern,
cold, over-sauced meat with a little bread and a mildly warm potato. Andrea
placed the tray down and turned to leave, clearly in a hurry, but Jake
called
out to her to wait. It was a moment before he said anything, he wasn't
entirely
sure what instinct had caused him to stop her.
"You knew exactly what I needed," He said a last, "Last night I mean,
without
me even saying a word. This food you've brought me is perfectly good, and I
thank you for it, but it wouldn't have been what I needed last night. You
knew.
How?"
Andrea's eyes widened just a fraction as he spoke, and the tip of her tail
twitched.
"You're a sorcerer," she stated brazenly, "and your friend was in need of
your
help, I brought things which I thought might help you to help him."
"No. You brought me things which you knew would help me, things which you
don't normally serve to your customers."
Jake could sense the startled hostility in her during the silence which
followed.
"I was only trying to help." She snapped, and turned on her heel, heading
for
the door.
"You did help," Jake said, keeping his voice soft and even, "Chance probably
owes his life to the tray you brought up here, I don't think I could have
held
that spell for long enough to help him without that kindness."
Andrea froze, her hand on the doorhandle, caught by something in his voice.
"I'm not trying to make trouble Andrea, I'm trying to make sense. I'm not
the
typical sorcerer. I'll never be as strong as Chance, or as big as Blizzard,
but
I'm fit and healthy. I could survive a fistfight, or a brawl in you barroom,
unlike
so many who have sacrificed their strength and their health for their Art.
Yet
somehow you knew me for a sorcerer from the few words I was able to moan
and by watching me drag myself up the stairs, and you knew exactly what to
bring me to help me work my spell."
Silence descended again.
"I can just tell," the honey-colored fem admitted softly, "I don't know how
to
explain it. I knew you were a sorcerer when you spoke to me."
Jake nodded, intrigued.
"Can you always tell?"
"Mostly, We've had a few spellcasters come in here and I get Blizzard to
keep
a special watch on them. They could do a lot of damage in they wanted."
"What does it feel like?"
"It's hard to describe," Andrea struggled to find the words, clearly a
little
unsure of where the conversation was headed but willing to follow it a
little
further, "Like that feeling you get just after rain, or standing at the
bottom of a
waterfall."
"I think I might have some idea of what's going on. I need you to hold very
still
for just a moment. This might seem a little scary but I promise I won't hurt
you."
Without waiting for any response Jake called his will forward to cover his
eyes. He knew that Andrea saw a glimmer form in the depths of his pupils, a
glimmer that grew until his eyes were shining with a light brighter than
flame,
but what Jake experienced was the opposite, his vision grew darker with
mundane sight fading to black until the things that he saw were lines and
patterns of energy invisible to mortal sight. The pattern that flowed around
Andrea was weak, but very familiar.
"You have what we call a truthsense," Jake announced as his vision faded
back towards normal, "I recognise it because my mother had it too. You
recognise spellcasters because of the power that lies inside us. The power
needed to weave spells and change the world around us is very strong, strong
enough that your truthsense recognises that we are not simply what we
appear to be."
Andrea raised an eyebrow.
"Truthsense? So how come I'm always getting beaten at the card table?"
"A lie told by mortals is a very small thing, a tiny ripple on the surface
of the
vast lake of the world. Since you've never known what it is that you had
you've never had a chance to train it, and you've got as much hope of
catching someone lie or bluff at cards as you would to find a single ripple
in
the ocean."
"But I could learn to do that?" Andrea's voice was calm but eager.
"I imagine that would be very useful for someone who runs a tavern, and not
just at the card table."
Andrea opened her mouth to say something but Jake forestalled her.
"I'll help you as much as I can, but you have to trust that I know what I'm
doing. Sometimes the things I ask you to do are going to seem unrelated or
foolish, but they will all be necessary. I am not going cheat you Andrea."
The tall slim female just nodded, a smile tugging at the edges of her mouth.
"Good. This is what I want you to do first …"
When Chance returned, much later into the night than he had originally
planned to, he found Jake curled up in bed sound asleep. He stripped quietly
and crept into bed beside his partner, not wanting to disturb him after
insisting
that he spend the day recovering, and in need of rest himself in order to
perform well in the arena tomorrow. Despite what he had said to Jake earlier
Chance did have some misgivings about the way it would go tomorrow,
particularly in light of the beating he had received. The short training
session
that he and Blizzard had indulged in hadn't revealed any problems, but
Chance wouldn't be able to set his mind at rest until he had laid a few
opponents at his feet on the sands of the arena floor.
Despite Chance's attempts to rise in the morning without waking Jake, the
smaller kat was roused almost the moment Chance left his side, moving into
full wakefulness as Chance began to dress.
"Up so soon?"
"Yeah," Chance replied as he pulled a shirt over his head, "I wanna be there
in plenty of time to get some warm up rounds in."
Jake got out of bed and walked towards his partner, secretly enjoying the
way
Chance's eyes ran across his naked body. Reaching him Jake caught Chance
in a gentle kiss, sending one hand running down the length of his spine to
remove the underwear Chance had donned.
"Jake, I really don't have time" Chance complained, although his voice made
it
clear that he wished he could.
"I'll be quick," the smaller kat replied pressing Chance into a sitting
position on
the bed and settling himself between his partner's muscular legs, "Besides
you'll do better in the arena."
Chance was dubious about it, but all his objections vanished as Jake ran his
tongue along the length of his shaft. For Jake's part he took as much
enjoyment from pleasuring Chance as the larger kat had the previous
morning, but he had another purpose in mind as he took the large, flaring
head of Chance's cock into his mouth. Although he was capable of stretching
the experience out, Jake used the tricks of his tongue and lips which he
knew
would push Chance over the edge quickly and, as his victim moaned and

With that he kissed Chance again. Jake had been a little concerned that the
words would be to garbled by the mouthful of fluid for the spell to take
hold,
after all this wasn't the usual method of collecting the necessary
components,
but as the mixture passed from his mouth to Chance's he felt a wave of
tightness pass through the muscles pressed hard against his. Chance's
tongue pressed further into Jake's mouth and the strong muscular arms
wrapped around Jake's body. The smaller kat was suddenly very aware of the
straining erection between Chance's legs. Without warning the larger kat
released a throaty growl and lifted Jake bodily off the bed, pressing him
against a nearby wall. In two quick motions, before Jake was fully aware of
what was happening, he found his hands pinned together above his head and
his legs spread apart. Realisation struck just moments before Chance's
finger,
which pushed through the ring of Jake's ass, covering it with what he
assumed was the larger kat's saliva. The finger was gone as quickly as it
came but it was quickly replaced. Jake released a long ragged groan as
Chance pushed his long, thick cock into Jake's ass. The sorcerer tried to
concentrate, wondering at this unexpected consequence of the Warrior's
Strength spell, but any attempt at coherent thought was defeated as Chance
began to pump in and out of Jake's body. With each stroke Chance brought

The day passed in a haze for Chance, the joy of exercising his own strength
and the thrill of battle drowning out everything else. The fear that his

might have caused some permanent damage proved to be unfounded, as his
body responded as well as it had before and Chance left a series of
opponents bloody and unconscious on the ground before him. Before he
realised that the day was over Chance found himself being awarded the purse
for second prize, having been defeated only in the final bout against a
strange
mouse-man from beyond the barrier ranges. The cheering of the crowd filled
him with an almost sexual thrill, filling his mind with images of Jake

and panting in his arms, and inciting a drive in Chance to head home to his
partner but both Blizzard and the mouse, who introduced himself a couple of
times but whose name Chance couldn't quite grasp, insisted he celebrate by
drinking with them and the trio ended up taking a grand tour of the city's
bars
and taverns, after which Chance staggered back to Andrea's while Blizzard
and the mouse continued to party. It wasn't until sleep began to overtake
him
that the fog lifted from his mind and he remembered why he had been fighting
in the arena that day.
"I guess we need to think about where we're gonna go." He whispered into
Jake's ear.
"I don't think so," replied the smaller kat, enjoying the feel of Chance's
hardness still buried inside him after their sex, "I like it here."
